From June 24 to 30, there will be a book fair in Dharmapuri

From June 24 to July 4, Thagadur Puthaga Peravai and Bharathi Puthagalayam will host a megal book market in collaboration with the district administration. Dharmapuri Government Arts College will host the 11-day fair.

The theme of the fair is Kaipesiyai Vidu – Puthagathai Edu (Shun the phone, pick up a book).

Earlier, Collector S. Dhivyadarshini conducted a meeting with the book fair committee members and the various departments to take stock of the arrangements for the book fair.

Every day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the book fair will be available with numerous interactive sessions with publishers and book societies. Between 6 and 8 p.m., the book festival will present an evening of monologues featuring intellectuals, writers, and activists.

The district administration has organised "Dharmapuri Reads" as an event for students in all schools. On June 21, between 10.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m., students will read aloud in preparation for the book festival.
